News from Ukubona

Two weeks and then I will be flying back to Cape Town again. It took us some time to sort out everything, especially the Visa but also all other preparations, but finally I am ready and looking forward to be in the South again! It is going to be another big step; I will not be coming back to Germany that soon. For now I want to be in the South with Ukubona, as long as possible; to create something sustainable and consistent.

There will be all kind of workshops, I will work with the children from the school by exploring all kind of arts, will be giving art-workshops in streetkidshomes... Furthermore we are sitting together creating concepts and talking to architects and builders. Ukubona - in cooperation with the Centre for Creative Education and Gas At Site (a southafrican firm) - is building a centre for art and art therapy at Zenzeleni School in Khayelitsha.
